generally when i think of social media im thinking of tiktok, instagram, whatever else are the platforms these days i forget which ones, facebook if you’re old people

i think that there are several different categories of “social media” most of which are more or less “social media” than others tho, with a line in between

usually when most people say social media they’re either talking about the gen alpha category or the old-internet category

i put Youtube under one-sided interaction because it’s much less personal and far more… like a lecture, i guess, than tiktok is. i think YouTube deserves to be a 5.5 but pintrest doesn’t but i couldn’t figure out how to sort that
