greeks are orthodox christian

and the mayans were all killed afaik. there could be some remnants left but it isnt a popular belief

to be clear - the world ending in 2012 was not something the mayans believed in, or which there exists any evidence of the mayans having believed in. what the mayans did was create a set of calendars, revolutionary for their time, which ended in 2012. and americans saw that and assumed the world was gonna end when the mayan calendars ran out, instead of it just being an arbitrary end point of a calendar system that was likely not meant to be used for nearly that long anyway
