McDonald’s egg prices have remained constant. The reason behind this is because the way McDonald gets its eggs is it tells a supplier “hey. I’ll pay you a little higher than market rate to buy your eggs, but you must sell to me at the same price if times get tough”

This acfually works great for both companies. It may seem like it would hurt the company but by having more money they can actually procure more ways to get eggs in the first place which means it hurts them less than it would normally

True but their environmental statements also get passed by some of the best lawyers in the world so its unlikely they’re greenwashing because that would introduce risk to their business

some companies are just far too large

There’s kind of alot of companies that greenwash yet their modus operandi is hidden until whistleblowers or simply the press reveals it
