I understand this ideology, but if a game is designed around a “gm” making it enjoyable (say DnD) it’s perfectly fine

However botc’s winner isn’t usually just completely decided by the host in my experience, nor is it a majority “the host did this random thing and we basically just won”
So it’s like, pretty good. As long as you don’t have a host who is determined to fuck over a team at every turn. If you do stop signing up for their games
