my dad has never met him, doesn’t want to, and doesn’t like the idea that I am dating a guy. Both because of some level of homo/transphobia, but also because he thinks of guys as dangerous in some respect

Christmas 2021 was easily my worst. FDA sends letter to my parents about my order of E from the internet, get confronted about it, it all goes very very poorly.
On the 28th? or 29th? I get into a REALLY REALLY nasty argument with my parents, specifically my father, easily worst we’ve ever had. It’s like hours long and genuinely pretty relationship shattering.
And then we go drive to Dallas because the Valero Alamo Bowl game between Oklahoma and Oregon is that night, and we had tickets.
truly a perfect summation of my life.
