some people in the world will stick by you always, you’ve just got to find the right ones for you.
two of my closest childhood friends stuck by me, but pretty much nobody else from that time did. and I still talk to them. ofc if you don’t have anyone from back then now, there’s no way to change that. the best time to make lifelong friends was 10 years ago. the second best time to make lifelong friends is now. and they do exist

17 Macro Mechanics

It’s just stupendously big.

I haven’t even started working on it yet, because every time I think I would, I would look at the setups they are based on, and then get demotivated to make even one role.

Because nobody has seen the stupendous amount of abilities from half of the setups this big project is going to be based on. Heck, even the stuff that are already known ought to have been enough of an indicator of how complex a mixture of two macro mechanics would be.
  • True Majority was low-powered, and focused on the modified voting systems.
  • Paradox Hazard was manipulation heavy, but didn’t actually have roles that triggers the events that are unique for that setup.
  • Nobody has even seen Everlasting Seasons, Encroaching Darkness, ASTT - Alt. Quantum, Deck of Cards, and Benevolent Malevolence before, but people can probably guess what they’re about based on the games’ names alone.
  • The Cyberiad Overhaul’s focus were modifiers, which is a very versatile macro mechanic, but it is ironically also a double-edged blade in the inception stage of designing roles.
  • Most people probably know how Purgatory works. This macro mechanic had to have low influence, bscause otherwise it would break the very structure of the game.
  • Some players might remember Points Sacrificer from Corrupted Votes FM, and I’m planning to bring back this macro mechanic, except with the articles on sale being less focused on voting-abilities alone.
  • I believe everyone still have the gambling mechanic from Kakegurui FM still fresh in their mind? I wish to use it as well, while praying it will have a moderate amount of influence in the game.
  • Boy, do I hope people have forgotten about Questions FM. That game
I am not proud of it, but I think I can salvage some aspects of it.
  • I wonder if people remember how Darling in the Franxx FM works? I had to ask the designer to get a grasp on how it works. It’s actually more fascinating than I had realized, and very easy to use as well.
  • Technically people can deep-search my past games and find Twilight Kingdom(?) FM in PokĂ©Beach, but I think their system’s name will be easy to understand and use (when the time is right). The issue is that the game was already balanced, so I have to nerf the effects for this game since it’d be unbalanced otherwise

and I need to compress all these aspects into one setup? It’s just asking me to quintuple my madness! :exploding_head:

I love the garden, the patio, the lounge, and the abortion, and I don’t hate the autism room either. however, the bath, lab, and kitchen could use some work.
