i googled and the only difference i understood is protestants deny the pope and each church is independent they dont believe in popes and archbishops and bishops and stuff. the other differences i glanced over i didnt understand

martin luther was mad at the state of the catholic church because they were literally selling get out of hell free tickets. and they also insisted on not actually reading or translating the bible. so assisted by the recently “invented” printing press they started reading and translating the bible.

Catholic: validates saints, believe in the pope.

Protestant: doesn’t validate saints, doesn’t believe in the pope.

Orthodox: validates saints, doesn’t believe in the pope.

Catholics like Pope. Catholics like saints, and Mary. Catholics associated with, like, Italy and Spain and South America and such. And Ireland. Fancy churches. Gold stuff. Protestants do not like Pope or saints, associated with like England and such, plainer churches
