Really dumb question: is Cara triggering a crisis of faith, or is she helping Esther work through a crisis of faith?
Asking because I thought it was the latter, but I think youā€™re going for the former.

uh

iā€™d say that she likes, intensifies it and makes it an Active Problem

and also helps her work through it

turns it into a crisis of faith rather than just doubts n all that

i wanted to capture the moment where the illusion is shattered in the scene there. the point of no return
i know i had doubts before i had that but i was able to cover them up ~relatively well and rationalize them.
i didnā€™t have a Grand moment but when i read the top honch of the cuhrch say the ā€œfamily proclamationā€ (homophobia document) was explicitly intended to remove trans rights (which runs contrary to all of the justifications that were given) i knew i couldnā€™t stay

Gotcha.
Reason Iā€™m asking is because itā€™s really hard to go from zero to hundred on a crisis of faith, so it might help to start with Esther already questioning her faith and Cara giving her the courage to really face it head on.
Thinking out loud here; disregard as much of it as you want.
