I’m the guy who knows a guy, he knows a guy here in the ciry, but that guy is in cahoots with another guy, who’s dating one of my guys, in the end, 10 of our guys will to to the guy and his guy bride’s wedding, be sure to bring a guy gift, he knows a guy who will make if you pay if you don’t

Correct. If we abandon the current system and go with just vibes, then I will drop all “formalities” and reformat my setups to match my testament out of spite.
(I say out of spite, because the official purpose of my testament is to prove that any effort I put into making my games fancy is for naught …which is an entirely different matter to the regression of the pre-established system.)

I think making games fancy has, like, pretty marginal rewards, you can have a Pretty Good game without any flavour or a nice OP or whatever, and so if your goal is just to make a Pretty Good game then you don’t need to do any of that shit. But it’s kind of a necessity to make an Extremely Memorable game, like it’s there to Wow people

So it depends on your goals. If you want to make a lot of pretty good games then you don’t super need flavour. Though it will sometimes convince people to join a game they otherwise wouldn’t, so it can bump up a mediocre game, too. But if you want to make One Really Good Game flavour incorporation is a good idea IMO

The fact that people will join a game like Zone’s Testament doesn’t prove that flavour/fancy OP is useless, it just proves that it’s not… like, strictly necessary. It is flavour. It’s seasoning. That’s why it’s called that
