It depends on how much effort someone would need to put in.
Like, Word Match is low-intensity because people just submit words until the heat death of the universe, no conniving necessary.

I’m pretty confident every single one of us has absolutely had examples of conversations that are more or less exactly like the one you referred to - so I definitely see where you’re coming from, and thank you for taking the time to explain that.

In the moment, I found the delivery to read as accusatory - in particular, responding to me saying you were conflating multiple things I have said with “could you explain what you mean further by” sounds exactly like the wording I would expect from somebody who thinks they’re, like, baiting some sort of admission out of somebody to use.

To be clear, this phrasing is what I was offended by, especially since as far as I could tell you had missed the point that my two statements were not meant to work in tandem and when I had pointed out “hey you’re conflating things I said into a meaning I didn’t mean” you responded with that, which I viewed as kind of doubling down (since I had literally just said “those two ideas are separate and not meant to be combined”)

I definitely buy that your intent in doing this was not to shame, or because you think I’m a bad person, but regardless the way this was worded after my follow-up that just said “hey don’t put these things together in that way” felt a lot like you were trying to put words into my mouth that would involve putting those things together in that way.

like I guess what I’m saying is I get where why you think that where you’re coming from is helpful and positive, but being on the receiving end it just felt like being painted as saying something I had already explicitly and expressly clarified I did not mean, and so I guess it’s mostly just an issue with delivery

but it’s one that I see quite often from all sorts of people on all sorts of topics (again, I refer to willow going after mac for no justifiable reason just like two or three days ago as a very recent example in a very related context) and I just

do not think it’s a helpful approach

like even if I did have some view that kids choosing their own names is some inherent irreversible evil that they should be unable to perform regardless of the harm their old name caused them, I just don’t buy that this method of trying to start a conversation about said belief is ever going to feel like not being attacked (because even as somebody who does not hold that belief, it feels like being attacked for having it :joy_cat:)

(also I further contest the notion that it’s “fair” to understand that sentiment as “a transphobic set of beliefs” - no part of jumping to the assumption that it’s transphobic to believe that kids often make bad life choices seems at all fair to me)

so like I understand where you’re coming from and why you think it’s a good place, but I don’t think my reading of your actions is really that unfair given I had already clarified “hey I don’t mean that” and you kept badgering me about “well what do you mean by that?” when the answer was “nothing”

Ok, then I guess something like a Medium-Intensity Misc fits?
Like, you’re not hunting for mafia like in Zelda Mafia, but it does take more thought and energy than, say, Word Match or Wavelength.

Depending on how the game is set up, lol is probably correct, but it’ll scale off how many options players have to make and threats they need to consider.
