fun fact: the playerlist actually had 64 players, but the host found out during like. i wanna say day or night 2. that one of the players never actually joined or got a role. which perhaps inconvenienced the town roleblocker who had already targeted them

he is a man of many ideas and no desire to check whether they’re good or workable before implementing them

what do you mean that doesn’t count

Best way to describe him is that he created a game with a stock market where players could trade on whether or not a player would flip mafia.
Upon flip, players would receive $100 per stock if they were mafia and $0 per stock if they were town.

he is the archetypical example of asking whether you could instead of whether you should. including such endeavors as coding a bot to create a prediction market as to whether people would flip mafia, and this being a core game mechanic

spoiler alert: an FM setup in progress im designing has an auction mechanic with inventory mechanics which you can control via a bot

this is, of course, probably not going to be completed

he then abandoned that game for a week and when pressed the only explanation he gave was that he was at the airport. i can only assume he had a harrowing experience there for an entire week.

and that was arete’s introduction to qbcord!

In hindsight, I’m amazed they stayed.

A host spontaneously abandoning a game with the excuse that they were going on holiday?? That sounds awfully famiiliar. I patented that idea first. What a bitch.
