I suspect it’s a lot less “pay for servers” and a lot more “have to deal with technical support and issues for multiple different servers in different countries”

which, like, BB was mostly developed with a team of ~10 people thus far, so yeah I don’t know why they’d overextend like that

tbf they might need A product other than OS to show off to help get that funding

like hey our pre alpha test got X players in NA, invest!

with one single server provider in the USA they minimize the amount of shit that can go wrong

they didn’t do multiple servers in NA like they have in OS

everything was on the same AWS node in cali lol

the what

I mean I understand their intent with the test was seeing if the game itself was viable but typically during a test you’d want things to go wrong

do you fuck with arianism or no (note that this is spelled with an i and not a y)

nah

if the focus of a test is “should we make this game” having server issues fucks with that data HARD

prolly not although I ain’t looked into it

you’ll never know until you try

this is a very important distinction

very funny 10/10 need to research further

if that was their literal and sole only reason to run the test then even if their test shows positive results it could just be skewed by a commercially irrelevant cult following coming from OS to test their new game when what they really need is a picture from the wider market

do you believe God the Son was Less Divine than God the Father

this is the crux of Arianism btw
