i had a dream i was watching a movie and in the movie an older/younger brother duo watched the end of some themed marathon, where people on teams in matching outfits won a marathon around the city. The brothers wanted to compete, but the older one ditched the younger for time.
It turns out that its a world marathon and is a race upon the world. a pretty significant amount of time in the movie is dedicated to protag researching african geography.
we see the trek across africa, where protag and co make it through, passing other groups. eventually we get to the end and focus shifts to a Green Squid themed team in the ocean, using an iceberg as a boat. Protag advises the leader to stop, and she doesn’t. Eventually the iceberg crashes, and a killer whale eats like 10 people on green squid crew, very violently.
Near the end of it, its Protag team vs. Green Squid, running to finish libe in the city. Eventually the leader pf Green Squid just starts stabbing people and shit. everyone on green squid except for this one guy who went to my high school starts killing everyone else. So protag kills the green squid leader and his team wins.
then i awoke. movie was mid but it was free so i cant complain
