im 3 minutes into episode 4 and CAIT CHEATED ON VI?!?!!? THEY BROKE UP?!?!? WHAT IS THAT FUCKING POLICE GIRL WOMAN DOING IN HER BED. WHAT THE FUCK. I HATE THIS. i was completely on cait’s side. damn. now i hate both jinx and cait. and i wanna be ambessa’s boy toy. thats all my thoughts for now

Arcane S2P2 Spoilers
She’s clearly on a rebound. Maddie’s advice to Cait is notably very wishy-washy: “Do what you think is best,” is bad advice when the person clearly doesn’t know if what she’s doing is best.
Cait also changes course extremely fast once she meets Vi, so she clearly does regret how the two parted ways last.

holy shit this was amazing. my favorite episode of season 2 so far. its been so long since s1 so i forgot how much i liked those. arguably my fav episode overall but it might be recency bias
this episode was the first one to do a convincing for me job of portraying jinx as a good character that i wanna root for. it felt pretty natural. i understood the authors wanted me to feel like jinx is a gray character earlier but i wasnt sold. but now they sold me
i loved warwick. i loved the league abilities. i loved the blood that they showed in the massacre after warwick. i dont think they’ve ever shown so much blood before. this is exactly what i wanted out of arcane - a gritty show. i loved it

Hold up. You were completely on Cait’s side? This whole post has like backwards analysis wtf. Cait is clearly coded as being wrong via narrative and visual motifs, and just good old fashioned morality. She also didn’t cheat on Vi. They were clearly not together at that point. Maddie is just a rebound.
