Ooh… I would love to read those books.

Erm…
A moment.
I will send you a PM.

Mmn… In both cases, the soul gets removed from the original world though? Summoning is the generic transmigration type that I know, and possession is the subgenre that has become more popular as of late. (Arguably to the point of becoming its own genre.)

The thing with possession is: The MCs rarely return. They typically get attached to their new reality, abandoning their old boring world.

The stories are fantastical, but… they are no longer attached to the old world. (Not without becoming some sort of deity, at least.) I don’t really like that aspect.

Rather than being moved into fantasy… I think it would be more interesting to bring fantasy into reality. (Except most novels I read suck in the realism department.)

In the second one, the main focus isn’t really on the being a clone part, so… I sent you a PM. (And I don’t remember the title the first one I read, I just know it happened.)

…actually, I think I recently listened to a Vocaloid song about this topic. It’s not necessarily about clones, but rather “die a hero or live long enough to become a villain”.

Not always.
In summoning-likes, it’s a common concept, that the original world’s time stops, when the protag wants to return.

Mmn. At some point, I have come to believe that that is a nonsensical setting. If a deity could pull off such feat, then there is no way I can believe they are a goodhearted deity.

…actually, for the past decade, I have just been growing my hatred towards anything time-related. It just always ends in suffering. (And not the type of suffering that I like.)

Not sure who to ping for this, but I’m extremely excited.

I have watched the Nimona film and SPOP, obviously, I have never actually consumed any of his written works (or his partner’s). Jenna has read Nimona though so I’ll pass it along.
