Within Tsukihime, vampires and zombies are kinda the same thing?
Theyā€™re all called Dead Apostles, with 9 Ranks. The higher up you go, the more independent a Dead Apostle becomes. For example, Apostles Ranks I-III die if their creator dies, but Ranks IV-V can still survive, though theyā€™ll be significantly weaker.
