I suddenly realized something.

I can’t kill Darion yet since his story has not ended yet.
But whether his story continues or not is unknown.

…as someone who kills off his characters in epilogues, this upsets me greatly. Regardless of how my characters came to be, I always need to kill them off after they have fulfilled their purpose so they can’t be used as roots of evil in other people’s stories.

Darion’s personality is based on [Altruism], so he won’t become evil unless forced to… But there is no guarantee there isn’t some higher-level being that can corrupt the very essences of characters. I can’t let my character be tarnished by such stupidity.

From what I remember, there was something like “an inner Darion”, so perhaps all players had somehow possessed some random characters that match the descriptions the players desired? If so, then it makes sense why those characters wouldn’t trust monsters. (Then again, perhaps it’s me who’s crazy for being too trustful.)

The symbol of infinity. Whose blessing or curse did the characters obtain those from? Were they scammed when they were on verge of death or something? Assuming such is the case, I find it interesting how players don’t have “full control” of their own characters. Especially because this relates to the subconscious, which was never meant to be controllable in the first place.
