if you think about it— the concentration is Manhattan, but the boroughs add on so much extra… and then you got the whole metro area (aka a 30 mile radius)

would say as someone who grew up in the area that each part feels very distinct
for instance, you could get the sickest chinese food in Queens (where Flushing is functionally a Chinatown), whereas Manhattan is very touristy, very city-like, not so much built for a culture that is more fundamentally based in tradition ifykwim
And then different parts of the city also look entirely different. The Bronx looks nothing like Staten Island.

i love seeing a good quality 4 but I’ll be real nothing hits quite like sacred heart. I played so much flash isaac and i got it on like, 2 occasions after I started playing rebirth because I went back to do hard mode. It cannot be understated how fucking difficult it is to get sacred heart in that game

special items are an evil mechanic and even worse in base isaac where items like bloody lust, speed ball and the black bean are special items

the worst part is i had a book of revs in one of the treasure rooms and decided to not go for it since it would only be good for one heart regen at this point and given I literally killed the fucking boss if I did grab it i wouldve won
