All that would confirm is that I am an informative role (but not the Dreamer), and that you are an one-night RBer, which says exactly 0 things about my alignment (or only a little I guess, because informative roles do come from town more but it’s not like there aren’t any mafia roles), or about yours.
Why is that more important that actually getting a town role? Your role (both vanillizer or RBer) is usually more mafia-aligned anyways, IDK why confirming it would help with confirming your alignment anyways.

If I had to make a choice between redirecting a vig who was gonna shoot town albeit POE, or redirecting a cop who was gonna check town in POE, I would pick the latter
