leaning towards university bc that would allow me to research as well but teaching would also be fun and might also allow that.

the big thing is that university would require at least a PHD while teaching would prob be just a masters

In Romania you need a doctorate and alot on your CV to impress to even be considered to be picked as a professor because thereā€™s not alot of space.

I think if normal elementary/middle/high school teachers didnt have the worst treatment ever of any profession, Iā€™d be down to do it. Probably not college, but I actually really like working with kids and get along well with them. But, like, damn i got bills to pay and mental health to consider

the horrible conditions for teachers lead to the, like, every 1 out of 5 teachers that feel stuck at their job but want to leave and think they cant, and are truly so sick of it, and blame the kids for it. Itā€™s so baffling to be a teacher and truly hate children and yet they still exist

I know a geography teacher friend andā€¦ on her first week, there were a few kids that were bullying a special needs kidā€¦ It wasnā€™t like light teasing, just right-out horrible.
