More mouse bites
Waiting for my dad to step out of my room so I can deeply watch a very great DnD series over a magical DnD highschool scooby doo gang unravelling a troublesome armageddon corn cult
Went well.
Very much relied upon the book for it, and it was less thematically cohesive than the first session, but it had stronger gameplay to it, and I was able to put it together in a day (I had a lot of work the week before).

Went slightly off the rails initially when the group tried to rescue Dzaan before his execution, but in their attempt to break him out, they accidentally killed him, so it all worked out.
Took a while, but no guesswork is needed.
It's long detailed solution.
Rule 1 is forced.
Rule 1 forces rule 3. (Small whispering number canât be 4 inside the line)
Rule 3 makes a 789 triplet in row 8 in end of the arrows. (At this point all circle see one of 1, 2 or 3, so 6es are impossible on any arrows.)
Left arrow sees a 3, so it needs both a 1 and a 2 to be legit. (Following this logic will remove 7 as a possibility from the left arrow due to sudoku, right arrow couldnât have 7 in the first place.) So middle arrow in row 8 is a 7. Which forces a 24 pair in box 5. This 24 pair solves r1c4 (as a 5) and forces either rule 2 or rule 4. Either rule 2 or 4 is happening, both would force rule 6. [Rule 4 would both eliminating 4 and 5 from r3c3 leaving a 6, and at this point rule 2 canât be statisfied in box 7 unless r9c4 is a 6.]
But rule 3 and 6 blocks rule 2 (in the box 5-6 joint.) Since that arrow already sees a 2, it canât have neighboring numbers in box 6, and 3-7 canât happen due to the starting 7 in col 6. So rule 4 is forced in row 1.
This kicks out 4 and 5 from box 6, and makes an othe 24 pair in col 8 on the renban line, which forces the 3 at the other end. Additionaly, because of rule 4, in col 3 all of 1, 4 and 6 is eliminated from the kropki, which makes rule 8 impossible.
The renban in box 5 has to have a 7. (Due to the 24 pair forcing it be high.) [Itâs (567), (678) or (789)
Additionaly row 6 already has every number from 1 to 5 already. (Rule 3 and 4 forced the 5, the two 24 pair forced the 2 on the left arrow, rule 6 forced the 3, and the right arrow had only with 4 as the last possible number. This âsolvesâ the renban in box 5, [if it doesnât have a 5, you would need to force 3 numbers in 4 cell in col 6, which is impossible.]
At this point, with a bit of sudoku, (and with the knowledge that rule 8 impossible) should arrive a 79 in r6c9 triangle space. [Both of which would enforce rule 7] which places a 3 in box 4. [Additionaly this will make the 9 rule in box 4]
The rest solves itself.
This reminds me that I need to read up on the mechanics of Exhaustion and traversing difficult terrain for next session.
Plan for next session is basically, âGroup gets barraged by a snowstorm and agrees to take shelter at a castle, except they learn that the occupants of that castle are cultists that seek to revive the Frostmaidenâs mate in the hopes of gaining her favor.â
Itâs an important session: it gives a payoff to an older plotline from the first session, more insight into Auril and the Arcane Brotherhood, and some foreshadowing regarding Elva and Harpell.

The woke slept?
Without saying good night?
Me when:
Spoilers for my Campaign
My party is traveling with two NPCs who will turn out to be villains down the line.
Harpellâs an enemy of their next few enemies (she has beef with both the cultists and the Arcane Brotherhood because sheâs got her own cult to manage) and so should stay under the radar.
Elvaâs connection to Auril means that once the group kills Auril, the Brotherhood kills Elva and store Aurilâs soul in her to attempt to revive her.
Non-zero chance I change things around depending on how my party does things.
Random fact I learned today: the Denver airport is larger than San Francisco
not âlarger than the SF airport,â larger than the city
what tf
tf???
the conspiracy theories are all true thereâs no other explanation
This vexes me
Wdym? I know Rule 2 and 4 canât co-exist, but why is R9C3 a [4]?
Never mind. I see it.
