I remember at some point Gorta complained that he was getting scumread (as town) for giving reads and explaining them and that he’d just refuse to give reads and explain them next time he randed wolf
He actually did give like two “reads” with “explanations” here but I chalked them up to being gut reads and didn’t think further lmao

that’s the thing though, if you read my posting in recent games I do give reads, it’s just in the form or comments on people

I would say zone and Iso, thing is I don’t have a clue how to read Iso and zone is just being the usual zone in that it’s not a strong read, but I get some mild town vibes from zone

in terms of Helz, it’s a similar boat to Whysper in that there is very little d1 reads, instead it’s mostly mechanical fluff and everything besides that mechanical fluff is again forgettable

Ehhh. There’s productive and unproductive mechanical analysis and I feel that what tends to happen in the games that feel burdened by mech talk is that people get bogged down in the latter (or in behavioural analysis that they call technical/mechanical analysis) and don’t really do the former or productive behavioural analysis, or bring in the third and most important element of mafia: Teamwork.

I think that if you are active as a mod, your players will reciprocate it and be active themselves, while if you’re sluggish as a mod, there’s less incentive to post as a player. Not sure how accurately that tracks

General correlation, but no causation
Good modding will result in a better game environment, but the real kicker is a base level of host attentiveness which has huge impacts on game quality
