What’s your reason for voting Eevee over Jake? I see you made a comment about Hippo’s vote seeming like a bus. Anything other than that? What’s your current read on Jake?

When looking at both Eevee and Jake’s explanations of the neighborhood, I think it more likely that Eevee is the mafia member. Jake doesn’t really say much and sounds like he didn’t want to cooperate, but that’s exactly why I think it more likely he’s town. He kind of knew the neighborhood had a good chance of containing mafia and didn’t see a point to it.

Whereas Eevee seems to be trying to explain a lot about his efforts to plan things when he should have fully realized this could backfire with a mafia member in there.

as someone who isn’t a compulsive busser but does bus somewhat frequently
hippo’s vote on eevee there reads like a bus vote
the kind of bus vote that’s shoehorned into a worldview with only a line of explanation because the voter thinks they have to apply pressure to some buddies because they “need to at some point in the game”
it reads plausibly to me like a rushed vote that was shoved in without much progression instead of something that’s the work of a mind trying to piece together a world

bonus points for the reasons not actually being ones that I can understand or see
add it to the list of things hippo has done that i find wolfy and if i’m right on hippo then that’s a small strike against eevee too

Can it really be considered a bus when it was pretty much a thunderdome between Eevee and Jake anyway? It doesn’t seem like Hippo will get all that much credit for starting the wagon. It’s not like it came up with something unexpected and that people will look back on as a good solve that helped town.
