I don’t know if this is or isn’t complex analysis

idk either
does it require Real analysis

complex analysis very likely requires taking Real first

also nyaaaaaaaaaaaaa do you want a brain worm

new brain virus!!!

Nah

Of course nya

yeah our complex course is called complex variables. don’t think analysis is a prereq?

it’s also technically grad level but what’s new

Here’s my brainworms currently

nyaaaaaaaaaaa

so a while ago I was like
“ok so, you can prove sqrt(2) can’t be represented as a/b, so it’s not rational… but why don’t I just conclude it doesn’t exist” (and do the same for all irrational numbers. just say they’re not numbers)

Every time I see complex analysis I think honeycomp lex a nalysi surface

Yeah yeah pythagoras

You can do that for any numbers. In like third grade every time we had to subtract something that’s come out with a negative surface my tracher would say CAN’T. DO in a chant-like voice and it make me so fucking mad

NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

okay but what if division by zero was defined. would that be fucked up or what

NYAAAAAAAAAA yeah

(partially) learning the formal way to construct the real numbers resolves this issue though

My brother was obsessed with division by zero and was like why is 0/0 not just 0 and was unsatisfied with “well 1/1 is 1 and 2/2 is 1 so why is it not just 1” and so I taught him the concept of a limit and he got bored

teach him about WHEELS /s
