why the heck do people play it
theyāre not that common
common enough 1.7 million people will watch a video of someone dying though
you kinda just see those sorta things if youre on the internet long enough
but like. on the field deaths for any of the other major american sports are super rare
i figured that
hasnāt happened in baseball since like. 1920. (ok an ump had a fatal heart attack on the field in the 80s but that doesnāt really count does it)
thereās theory that this guy killed someone on purpose in hockey, donāt know any updates about that
theres gotta be some way it could be made more safe
well, we could replace their skates with plushies, but Iām unsure how this will impact their skating abilities
it will be way more cuter though
ā¦like designed neck equipment
it sounds annoying but i dont like the idea of people dying
oh they exist
They just donāt use th em lol
thats. a bit daft
Apparently the guy was arrested
ray chapmanās death was caused by a dirty spitball, thus forcing mlb to implement rules requiring the replacemente of dirty baseballs and banning the spitball. except instead of actually banning the spitball they let each team have one pitcher who could keep using it. some teams had legal spitball pitchers well into the 30s
considering that he died from getting hit in the head you would think that his death led to the implementation of batting helmets but nope! over 30 years later
I know how to flush out the mods
