hazard, what i picked up from last game is that you tend to have a habit of defending consensus poe slots just because there isn’t a rock solid mega outting wolfcase against them but the reality is in most mafia games this doesn’t really happen, especially this early. in fact most times this does happen it’s by a villager who is confbiased and their read is actually just ~rand. on day 2 last game when everyone just kinda accepted porscha was dying, you seemed anxious about it despite the fact there was basically no reason to think they were town and several light reasons to think they were a wolf. i think this may just be caused by your personality - you’re very worried about making a mistake and as a result overthink things. but sometimes i think you should just keep it simple, especially if you aren’t confidently wolfreading anyone
i used to do a similar thing. i still kind of do. i sometimes get too fancy and jump through loops to talk myself out of scumreading the obvious consensus wolf then look dumb the next day. what i’ve noticed helps keep me grounded is reminding myself of the fact that 4 people in this game have to be a wolf, and it would make more sense to kill people who have little reason to be town even if the reasons for them being a wolf aren’t massively convincing. it’s low risk and low accountability. we can look into harder worlds later
if i’m misunderstanding and you think guava has done something towny, then i’d be willing to discuss that with you. but i just don’t really think they have. i think the posts they made after returning weren’t an improvement - they just engaged in some trivial discourse with your slot and agent’s over semantics, and voted agent for blatantly lying about something, which is very surface level, similar to their earlier reads which i also took issue with. i don’t get the impression that guava has a holistic worldview of the game so far which is more likely to come from a wolf, or someone disinterested in playing, but i feel like they are more likely to be disinterested as mafia so it seems to be a bad look either way
