but you were trying to argue that I was mafia because there was pushback against me. this would imply the people pushing against me were mafia, but the people you think are mafia are trying to kill me, so i struggle to see how you hold these two beliefs at the same time

you know there are like, multiple mafia players right, and like they can do different things in order to look like they are not related and are not pushing the same agenda
they call it “distancing” actually, where mafia players try to make them look as unpartnered as possible, which I imagine the entire mafia would be doing to your slot as you’re about to flip.
