well what are the odds it decides to affect me, I mean if it does then suddenly smiley is my best friend and I’ll lock in to help them win but if they don’t benefit me specifically then I don’t like them

if you are town, the chance it’s hrlping you is higher, when they are alive.
if you are non-town, it could be hindering you. (especially if it protects your kill target N2.)
