April Showers The Third - NIGHT 3 (12/16)

:joy_cat: ok nice

I’ll try reading you separate from meta and see if i get anything; not really expecting much though

yeah idk you’ve just done nothing of interest and that’s less actionable now that you’re not “that player who was towny when they were town” and are instead “average FoL player”

Well I’m going to think of one, maybe we can start deathtunelling someone for an hour or 4 and see what people do about it

Btw I don’t know what your actual thought process is here (though regardless i think this comes off as towny) but it doesn’t seem likely that kiiruma is actually doing this on purpose; I can’t speak for him but I don’t think this is a thread that’d entirely die without that talking about smiley & I think it’d produce better reads if we got off that; I don’t think it’s on him to propose an alternative tbqh especially when that too will probably be exhausted in due time

I volunteer myself as tribute

btw searching for anybody with townreads on:

Leafia
Starboy
Frostwolf
pandora
Chomps

because I think they’re all nuller than they should be for the postcount yet i’m sure somebody thinks at least one of them is town

I’m thinking that one of the few people pushing on me - Specifically leafia - might have overstepped to the point kiiruma felt the need to step in and try and shut the conversation down. I’m looking back on it, and it doesn’t look overtly obvious, so meh maybe paranoia maybe it’s more subtle but still.

~Mostly thinking leafia because they came in second, and it tends to be that wolves don’t start pushes but they’re all the more happy to jump in to try and start a bandwagon. I don’t see kiiruma trying to shut down W!Marluna starting a push, I can see them trying to do it for a fellow wolf joining an ill-fated wagon.

I can see Starboy being town out of this bunch the most.

The rest is mostly null for me.

(I don’t even attempt to try read Leafia anymore… she is sus even if she is towncore, she is just that good as scum.)

I can give them one for wallposting

Did that wallpost any useful behind it?

all of those comments are NAI at best imo. (the best she did there was repeating opinions.)

i could make that wall in my sleep

WORLDS GREATEST HITS

I don’t think “I know I am town” is a read that comes off great if made about yourself

ooh elaborate?

If the neutral doesn’t need to be killed, then adding it would be the same as just adding more abilities onto a villager no?

what does this mean

I don’t see how someone can make a read of themselves being an entitlted villager. If someone is aware of how they’re coming off then I wouldn’t put any stock into it.

The way Jarek has been speaking has seemed particularly unforced to me. I liked how it threw in a clarification about being joking without much awkwardness. He has also been contributing decently even after being townread rather than seeming cautious for fear of it disappearing.

I am not especially reassured by this seeming mindmeld, actually. I find the thoughts Starboy has given unoriginal. She seems more focused on projecting a villager mindset than actually having one, at least in the singular post I have read.

This seems like an odd question to ask to me. I am not sure what would lead Starboy to this thought immediately.

I find this post slightly villagery. Wolves tend to feel more awkward and “guilty” about their differences from the thread, blaming their alignment rather than their personality, so I find this disbelief to be something a villager would be a bit more likely to express.

I find these thoughts insightful enough.

However, I find this self-focus slightly wolfy.

In addition, this defense comes across as nervous to my eye: Canping could just be stressed about being mis-suspected, but this kind of fear more often comes from wolves.

This reassurance does give me a good feeling, but I think that is on an interpersonal level, not an alignment one.

This is an odd way to give a read, but I do not especially mind the read itself. It feels unpaired with Marluna.

This feels a bit awkward.

I continue to townread soweli.

I agree with this thought and continue to find myself on the same page as soweli, which I find to be a good sign.

I do not have much to say on this post, but I will note that I continue to like soweli.

A wolf Kiiruma would be happy to have the village continue running in circles about Smiley and would not see any need to make this post. Not saying this is hardly something that would get him suspected. It is not impossible that this post comes from a wolf, but it is a villagery post.

As I understand it, Zone_Q11’s design sense means that these implications cannot be fully trusted.

Again, Kiiruma is townsiding with mechanics here.

This is a natural question that arises from the set of beliefs that Canping should have. Being able to maintain this consistent mindset is villagery.

This is a natural question to have, I don’t agree with the point Jarek was making, but something about the way it is posed is pinging me.

I don’t agree with this, for the record. A wolf Kiiruma can use that encouragement to change the subject to shunt the conversation in whatever direction he wants, but he did not try to do that. It feels like an opportunity he would have taken.

Heiter has still not provided a single game-relevant post.

This mistake and the handling of the correction seems slightly towny. soweli did not try to overexplain themselves or justify where this error came from. She simply noted the error and moved on. It shows a lack of nervousness.

I appreciate the direction here greatly.

This is also a rather comfortable comment.

Even though I don’t agree with his reasoning, he was the first, who had an actual reason, why my vote on Jarek looks bad. (except the one, that I should have known it was a joke)

I think a wolf just would went the already established “it’s a bad vote, cause it’s clearly a meme” argument, if they wanted to shading me, based on that early vote.
