I’ll rand Alchemist Mezepheles and never say the word.
If that happens, it’s genuinely pro-town.

It’s safe to meta that CRichard will run a Legion game, right?

i will join the next one

The next game will be less beginner-friendly than this one, for the record.

Don’t take that as a reason not to to play, but it’s worth keeping in mind as a role-madness.

I was actually kinda surprised by the success of this evil team, since I’d seen notable differences between their town and scum games in the past even though I knew their reputations, but it was such a joy to watch how everyone in the entire game bounced off each other.

Summary

Hello I’m new to the game and wanted to ask for a rules clarification

I just played a game and I was the atheist which apparently means the ST can break the rules? I’m not sure how that’s fair but anyways I had a pretty weird experience.

I was expecting for the game to start normally but as soon as the game started the ST took out his tax forms and started doing his taxes? I’m not sure what this has to do with blood on the clocktower but he said it was part of the game now. Anyway I looked over and saw his income statement looked at lot lower than it should be. And he seemed to be claiming a lot of business expenses that didn’t make sense to me?

“Demon insurance”, “Investigator fee”, “Mathematician consultation”??? And he had also listed donations to a nearby poppy farm and a Buddhist temple? This all seemed so much different from all the other games of clocktower I’ve played.

This went on for about 5 minutes and most players had just begun their day 1 private conversations but I was getting confused. When I asked what was going on he just looked at me and told me that if I am mad that I saw his tax forms I might die at night. I asked if he was meaning in-game and he didn’t say anything so I just went along with it.

As we all gathered back in town square he told us that the game is not over but we can head home? I haven’t brought up what I saw to the other players in case one of them tells the ST I’m breaking madness, but can the ST really do this when the atheist is in play? I’m not sure what to do now. This is my first game as atheist so any help is much appreciated, thanks
