Lunatic would actually be quite funny since we’d be obligated to trick them into thinking they’re an evil demon
I believe we’d be able to do that by giving them a fake town or outsider role and then telling them they turned evil when they actually just didn’t

There’d be no other way cawthorne would interact with lunatic due to how it works mechanically. It’s homebrew soooooo maybe it’s just not intended to play nice ever idk

i would personally sub puzzlemaster because it can be swingy but its, it links “this player is drunk” to “this player is the demon” so unless you make the drunk obvious i dont personally think its that swingy
My almanac must be outdated, then. Cawthane + Marionette is the only jinx here.
i mostly see pm guess used to eliminate worlds, not try to demon hunting

the only time ive seen pm really be a townsfolk is in a game with a bounty hunter ping on a player who was blatantly socially good, who got pm guessed
