I honestly didn’t get what was bad with it seemed rlly strong which is why I was afraid of it

Student is bad because it’s literally impossible to hide as.
Doesn’t have utility to improve its survivability (Compared to gardener which is a late game role but can give out flowers)
Doesn’t gain information.
Doesn’t have the ability to kill.

Plus its positions start off as abhorrent.
And it’s honestly easy to counter by musician and blacksmith too.
So even its ‘strength’ of positions isn’t absolute.

maybe a cool buff could be “you will know your exact position on each list each day”, so like you get some info about nymph

Ehhh… But that doesn’t sound fair either.
Because then student becomes a counter to 2 roles, CJ (Since they’d know where CJ is) and Nymph (Since they may know which form they’re in and get to eliminate people from being it fast)

Screw Augur.
Unless you use it to specifically ask the 1 host question to be to reveal the roles of (x) dead players.
Also no Actor… sad.

Augur can ask the dead a question 3 times per game with the dead able to give a response to it.
And once per game ask the host a question which must be answered honestly.
It’s in contention for the worst role.
But due to it being able to gain information it’s not worse than the Monk

‘You know your exact position’ would mean you’d know where CJ lines up with your positions.
That it is, but having Student kinda hard counter it feels a bit… weird?

It’s tier 3 out of 7 on both list on my board. (but only knowing the first 3 non-guessed player)
You won’t believe how crazy roles are in the BtM hub which needs to be lower than the Necromancer… (also this one I specifically renamed to Kleptomaniac, to bring in a real Necromancer role.
