How does Achro using almost the exact same opener in a similar game as town influence your read?

  1. Do you have reads or opinions outside Monochromatic?
  2. Why do you insist on not signing your posts? It will help me read you better if you are town since I will be able to distinguish May vs. Suit Guy. If it is not too much trouble, can you list out which post numbers are May and which are Suit guy?
  3. What was your alignment vs. Achro’s alignment in past games that you’ve played together?

For the record I have two thoughts:

  • Wait for Zone to post too to get a better read on the slot.
  • I almost want to say abrasiveness tends to lean town but when I played with you as town, I don’t remember you going this hard. Conflicted. Or maybe I am mistaking posts from one hydra head for the other.

I’ve played like… 10 games of FM? 9 rand town games and 1 game where I was converted to evil. my win loss is about even.
But I’ve played a fuck ton of other social deduction games (400+ hours of among us, 900+ hours of an annoyingly overcomplicated variant of werewolf that I’ve sunk like 2 years of my life into, and a couple misc. social deduction games.)

I think you are maybe(?) town. I think your banter leans town (weak). I think Raffles voting Monochromatic with that “Absolutely Not” post (#39) has that assured villager attitude… basically some posts (#101) are bold enough to verge on just being villager and I don’t see much nervousness here.

The only question I have is #169:

From my understanding, at this point in the game, you are scumreading Monochromatic. How convinced were you that he was scum at this point? Like… confidence level in your read? For some reason, I feel a strange incongruous discrepancy between the strength of your read and your willingness to hammer Monochromatic if it weren’t for the fact that most people hadn’t posted. Only point of concern I have in your posting thus far.

it’s not that I’m super confident in my read (I’m confident but it’s not lockwolf or anything), but if Monochomatic ends up being my only scumread when everyone has spoken and I’m townreading everyone else they can die and we’ll see what happens, y’know?

That’s because there is a discrepancy, kind of
I should be more confident in my read
and I will be more confident the more people come into the thread if I think the people who come into the thread are town
The more people I see in thread and go “okay that’s town,” the more likely I’m right about Monochromatic being a wolf, right?
so the more people that come into the thread, the stronger my read is gonna get, unless someone comes in and does some wack ass suspicious shit
