I’m playing a bit. And now I have to stick with it, or else I’ll be nightkilled N1 in every world. This way, paranoid evils might go “hey, let’s keep them alive. Maybe they’ll be executed.”
I kinda think this is a villagery sentiment from May – like ‘I know on an intellectual level that this is a bad read but I Feel Like it’s correct’ is a very relatable sentiment
this logic makes no sense though because you could have just … lied … about why you chose Magnus [or intentionally timed your post to be after his]
…yes, me saying “my reasoning for thinking this [i.e., that you could be w/w with Magnus] was that it was already an incredibly forced joke and I know you often go in for the idea of ‘I’m going to have over-the-top interactions with my partners to look unaligned,’ which made me think you could be doing that with Magnus” was a read.
[I am assuming you mean ‘interpreted’ not ‘interrupted’ although it’s, uh, your own post that you’d be interpreting]
regardless of your alignment, if you genuinely somehow can’t tell that (in response to a wolfclaim) “oh ok thanks for clearing that up” is a joke I don’t know what to tell you
I almost think it could be true just because it’s so ridiculous of a thing to claim although I’m not sure that you thinking that was a completely serious deadpan interpretation of a post claiming wolf is a good look lol
Literally every part of your case on me is about me pushing you
‘ah yes, I, a person with a full time job, have just joined a mountainous game, in which I am actively pushing for a 100-post cap because otherwise I expect to struggle to find the time to play. time to go read up on every recent game on the site so that I have a good grasp of people’s meta.’ (this is sarcasm in case you can’t tell)
I read (ish) the setup when I signed up, I either didn’t notice or forgot the selfvoting rule. I didn’t check after you selfvoted because I’m used to only playing games where selfvoting is allowed so it didn’t occur to me that it wouldn’t be.
I have read previous meta of yours from … months ago? I have read past games that we’ve played in? I in fact read part of Starcraft LyLo? But, again, I am not going to go read the entirety of the past several games on this site to prep for this game.
I think that your wolfread on me is ~plausibly a thing you believe but that you don’t believe Zorvo’s case is meaningful
and it’s weird that you’re acting like it’s a contributing factor to your read when it’s not
ngl I vaguely thought they were a katze alt until they alluded to knowing May
I kinda think this is a real thought that molly really believes
@otterpopd
can you quote the posts that gave you that impression?
I don’t want to rain on this parade here since they still have a good chance of being town from pure stats but I don’t really think this is townie, this is the sort of thing people read newbies as ‘pure’ for when they’re just honestly confused regardless of alignment. newbie wolves don’t ask literally all of their new questions in wolfchat and Prisma is definitely new regardless of alignment
Hey Neon, no chance you’re feeling a bit annoyed about randing wolf, and that’s coming across in how you communicate, right? That wouldn’t be the source? Just a thought. It’s not something that was notably present in your opening Starcraft posts, but maybe twice in a row makes it more frustrating… I’d certainly not be happy, that’s for sure.
I wonder who that would indicate partnership with; certainly a train of thought I’d be interested in pursuing if I find further evidence, if only because judging who in the thread is most annoying “for social deduction purposes” sounds hilarious (in theory, probably not in practice).
(if there’s no explanation it means I’ve already explained it earlier)
people who have given me some vague even-very-light reason to think they are town (not sorted)
Arctic
mollylikesorigami
May? (I was going to put them in the ‘conflicted’ category but P#199 is a townie thought to have, I think)
Neon (I think they are giving Real Thoughts. I think if they’re a wolf this is probably more likely to be ‘wolf saying things they actually believe except maybe the conclusions’ and I’m willing to give them a spot in the vague townleans pile) (‘arete that’s a bad reason are you just doing this because you didn’t have enough people to put there’ yes but I do think it’s >rand correct)
people who are giving me conflicting signals [as in town-signals and scum-signals]
Zorvo [I weakly think he wouldn’t go all in on pushing me day 1 as wolf – as wolf he tends to really like bussing for “credit”. however his push is also extremely bad and includes examples of, like, outright quoting my words out of context to make false claims that are obviously-false if you look at the context, hence being conflicted.]
people who are kind of wolfy
Eliza
if you’re not on the list it means I have no particular thoughts on your alignment at the moment
Also, for the record, I will never stop being godawful with names. Forever and forever I will store people’s data in the same exact place in my memory and their names will just get mixed up in the soup. Sorry in advance to Atlas and Arctic and Italy (please imagine me pointing to the wrong one of the three as I say each name).
In Morbtainado, I couldn’t tell the difference between you and Zorvo, but I managed to drop that one, since your names don’t sound similar at all. Atlas, Arctic, and Italy, though? Same places on the keyboard… too many As and Ts and so on, my hands just pick one from the bag to go with.
