Did I misunderstand something? Arctic was questioning May’s read to get them to broaden it and to hopefully feel more confident in it. Accusing May is a good look, but the same sentiment isn’t there whenever you supposedly returned to the case later. Eliza/May aren’t competing leading wagons.
Y’know what, that could explain why you dropped your read on Eliza. You said you agreed with Arete’s reasoning, but you never even responded to his case.
You never actually responded to anything. This could be a stretch, though, so I won’t make that assumption.

#1 involves you uplifting Arete while accusing May of pocketing Zorvo, despite admitting they already had reasons to scumread Arete. It’s a way of diminishing the presence of them both. #2 and #3 are fair enough, although they contradict each other if you scumread May and myself independently, if we cannot be aligned in your eyes. FMPOV, inclined to believe May is Town, this looks like a very easy way to chain misexes.
you are ascribing motivations to my posts
i asked may to expand on it because i wanted to see if it was something she believed, i didn’t want to influence the confidence in her read and i have no idea why’d think this from the post i made
i also have no idea why eliza/may not being wagons is even remotely relevant to this
i said i thought arete was town when they made that post, and went to sleep
the next time i spoke about eliza (today) was in reference to the post arete made
i don’t know what you are trying to say in #1. diminishing who, how?
#2 and #3 again, laughably bad. i’m allowed to scumread two players who i think have been independently wolfy while thinking they aren’t aligned, especially on day 1. what i’ve been trying to do is figure out which of you is more likely a wolf
That is pretty much the exact opposite of how I read Arctic’s post regardless of his alignment
Like as far as I can tell what happened was basically:
May: “I think Eliza is sus because her early posts were very short and contentless”
Arctic: “I disagree with that, Eliza does that as town, and as wolf she would be more likely to feel the need to make fake content. Have you ever seen her play scum?”
I am not really sure how you get from there to ‘Arctic wanted May to feel more confident in it’
Yea I am, a bit. I’m a bit busy right now, so I don’t have infinite time to dedicate to rereading the thread and building narratives, and I don’t have any particular thoughts on the game at the moment that I feel the need to be loud about.
I tend to be a bit quieter on D1s if things are going on, anyway - you could see that in Valorant, where I wasn’t super involved with things because everyone was already having 1000 arguments. It’s mostly when I feel the content of the game is insubstantial that I’m super involved and asking questions, and right now, you’re all being fairly substantial.
Plus, like, there’s plenty of content revolving specifically around me right now, and I find I don’t like to poke on that stuff; I want to let it happen, and people talk about you differently when you’re around thread. I don’t want people to stop questioning the origins of my reads, because how they go about that is informative, so of course I’ll avoid clarifying.
Also if I’m too towny I’ll get N1ed and then I don’t get to play with Otter as much and that would be SAD and SUS
I saw Arctic as someone I wanted to scrutinise, so I made a case on him. It didn’t hold water, so I tried justifying it until I was out of material and couldn’t be bothered.
actually, every time I see a paragraph or a block of text, I want to just skip it because half of the time I find the content within incomprehensible enough that skipping it wouldn’t have made any difference
