they still have the night to kill so they dont actually need the day a lot of the time
I’ve seen evils in other, shorter social deduction games go mute because they think it helps them fly under the radar to contribute absolutely nothing whilst the good team goes at eachother.
I didn’t think someone would try and pull that off here because a 48 hour gap of not posting is significantly more noticable than a 1-2 minute gap of not contributing anything to any particular day phase. I suppose with the chaos of these T/T wagons they might have felt safe doing so, but it’s hard to believe a wolf willingly does nothing instead of adding fuel to the fire.
This is a Townie go over, I like it!
I can’t remember completely but I know they voted Arete in a way I found Townie.
well said!
@Marluxion if you still think I can be wolf, me and Aro town locked each other coming into the day after EoD1.
Like this first part and his vote on Otter afterwards was in a pure town mindset, I also shared the same reason on Magnus that his wolf partners would have to be low posters for Magnus to be a wolf.
I’ll tell you the same thing I told Arctic when he voted this yesterday.
It is TvT wagons EoD1. Fairly confident Magnus had a town Counterwagon.
Also now I think I want to put Arctic back into straight lean cause like I’m thinking about it and shouldn’t Arctic logically have disagreed with me and be voting otterpop with you but is instead voting May?
in what way was it towny though? scum can vote other scum even if you are 100% certain arete is mafia
if i’m being honest zorvo it feels like you WANT to pocket me and are just choosing to do so rather than actually solving my slot
probably because you’ll use it to brag after the game is over if i call you town if your scumteam ends up winning
it felt like a post you would make as a wolf who’s like ‘lol the poorly-calibrated villager who always tunnels other villagers is tunneling a villager, all I have to do is sit back and let him’
(yes I thought Seth was a wolf, yes this is inconsistent with Eliza having that perspective, I was holding both in mind as possibilities)
this didn’t happen though
Like I went back and reread his last several posts in case I’d forgotten something and I legit don’t know what you’re talking about
like
not publicly calling you into question
actually questioning you
oh like
Literally asking me a question
ngl I am really confused by your argument here, like wolf!Arete would not be scared of people … asking a completely normal softball question?
well no it’s not JUST asking you a question
his question very clearly is trying to scrutinize you and gauge your thoughts, likely in an attempt to gauge your alignment
and before he was able to draw conclusions he dies that night
Marl regardless of your alignment your entire argument here clearly stated with the answer you want and worked backwards for why Aro’s death totally for sure implicates me
‘people asking other people that they townread and that they think are good at the game for their thoughts’ has, uh, an obvious explanation, even if it’s possible part of it was also for reaffirming his read
also this is an extreme misrepresentation of my actual point
we both know that isn’t how wolves think
but “aro is townread so we should kill him before he becomes an actual threat” is DEFINITELY something wrete would have been thinking yesterday, especially since vulgard and i hadn’t subbed in at that point
we both know he was one of the last living players who could have called you out and actually built a case in a way that could actually pose a threat to you (pre-me and vul arc)
Also I answered it 42 minutes before EoD so presumably if he thought it was secretly sinister he’d have said that??
ironically though, the dangerous one of me and vul is me
vul’s godread kryptonite is broken
he didn’t show back up until JUST before eod, all he had time to do was question why arctic was a wagon
that isn’t YOUR fault obviously, but it did work out conveniently
