Like I want to say it’s fakeable but I’m definitely reconsidering my read on Arctic.
i think lemon’s getting villagerier in the sense that she’s finally figuring out what exactly tf she wants to do with her life here lol
and her arete post was pretty towny, not just for the level of thought but because of how she’s constantly mentioning things happening around arete, like how zorvo was being extra annoying right before that one arete “look i think you’re being wolfy” post, and how she felt about eliza at the time that arete started pushing her. wolves don’t usually go that extra mile in big showy iso posts like this, and it feels like she’s rattling off a bunch of pings she’s had throughout this game instead of just trying to comment on all relevant arete posts.

the Magnus execution is approximately the single most beneficial [plausible] day 1 execution for mafia!you, since he was wolfreading you; that doesn’t mean it can only come from wolf you but it’s an update in that direction
you didn’t really try very hard to talk me out of the Eliza execution even before EoD2 despite thinking I was town
you didn’t really seem very invested in solving the game at all yesterday
you haven’t really been having very much fun all game and iirc town is your preferred alignment

arctic’s villagery perspectives are what’s had me keeping my townread on him afloat for a while, and obviously his magnus case was towny. one of his posts in particular, where he was like “i could’ve been kept alive because wolves thought i’d look bad after the magnus flip, but nobody’s pushing me for the magnus flip so that’s probably not it”, seemed like it would be really, really slick if he was a wolf.
his giving up eod2 was fucking goofy lol. his explanation, idk it makes sense on paper but his reaction just seemed way, way too fast.
may this game seems like a rough, sloppy caricature of may last game to me. otherwise idk, and arctic’s points don’t resonate with me at all tbh. sorry man but like, “you could’ve done something to save eliza” is real rich coming from you lmfao.
i can’t say i understand why people are dumpstering arete as hard as they are. granted i’m barely trying to read them myself anymore lmao, i just haven’t seen convincing reasons they’re a wolf.
i think i like my lemon tr today, and i remember a sorta similar thing happened last time where she looked wolfy for being underwhelming until she “came alive” and got correctly tred for it. that last part isn’t a reason she’s town, just a reason she’s not wolfy.
otter… well aro died, and most of the rest of aro’s reads weren’t super unique. there’s still a lack of any internal drive that’s been there since basically the start of the game, and her no-showing today does at least mean i won’t feel bad about killing her. idk, it’s the lazy option and literally not knowing how to make a read does explain a large amount of her wolfy behavior.
