Here’s my morning check-in, and while I agree with the sentient that axing Hail wasn’t a great decision, by his own admission he didn’t want to continue playing the game, so it’s certainly not the bad execution others make it out to be. I’ll be back in an hour, but for now I can confidently claim Jaiden and Memes aren’t W/W. “Relatively confidentally.” Do not challenge me on this unless you have a redcheck on them both or something.

Conclusion: entirely differently from how I’m interacting with Prisma, so valid.

Magnus had vanished. A morning came, and they was missing from Flicker: a few thoughtless people commented on their absence. On the next day nobody mentioned them. On the third day Atlas went to the OP to look at the playerlist. One of the notices carried a printed list of the members of the game, of whom Magnus has been one. It looked almost exactly as it had before — nothing has been crossed out — but it was one name shorter. It was enough. Magnus had ceased to exist: they had never existed.

This was also hilarious.

his vote on arete also made no sense with the justification that he “doesn’t care about early game wagons” when he said that he voted arete so seth wasn’t the leading wagon, and later added that he does actually care about early game wagons for the sake of analysis, so voting someone he didn’t scumread to tie the leading wagon of someone he townreads made no sense, when there were people he suspected more which he could have voted to do the same thing

and there’s also the way he (by his own admission) ascribed motivations to my posts to make a blatantly bad faith push on me, and later gave up after it had been proven he was pulling stuff from thin air

the posts are pretty recent but the context is that magnus somehow described my post towards may during RVS in which i disagreed with her eliza scumread as me trying to get them to double down on it (???) and then create eliza/may v/v wagons because i started scumreading eliza later

the narrative is so clearly ungenuine

Your argument fails to account for the fact that I don’t mind making a nuisance of myself, but that’s meta and cringe and all that. I’ve stated a few times that I voted Arete mainly because Zorvo asked me to, and the justification was talking about why I did vote. “Isn’t that the same thing?” No, one’s why I voted Arete and why I voted Arete

i don’t care what your experience with seth is. frankly, if you’ve found his reads to be accurate then you have not played enough games with him. the entire game is telling you it is incoherent because it is! and you pretending it’s not, and trying to enable him, and acting like his reasons are convincing, while letting him burn the house down, is why i think you two are likely to be mafia

When was your last towngame with Zorvo? Players improve over time, and in his most recent games when I was participating, he came across as a capable villager. Even when he was tunnelling me in Morbtainado, he went about it in a villagery way. Putting someone down like this bothers me, and not in a game-related way.

but this is not what magnus has been doing, is it? where has he gauged arete’s (or anyone else’s) response to him jumping on their wagon with seth? where has he gauged anyone’s response to him entertaining seth’s prisma/arete w/w read? what he’s been doing has not been to gauge reactions, or investigate responses. it’s been to piggyback on the reads of others while taking very little responsibility for his own actions

I think Prisma’s a better execution than Hail was because they’ve had more interaction with the game - more people have expressed opinions on them, they’ve potentially spewed a few people town, et cetera. Hail was a last-minute flashwagon, IIRC, which meant we didn’t have the continuous interaction with how the votes on them sat, rose, and fell.
