Yeah, I just keep coming back to thinking it is still more likely that CRich is Demon. So then I feel like it would be better to go with that as the bet and then get rid of a minion this time around so we have a better chance. Hmmm…

Alright so, to run it from the top.
D1 I whispered to Night. I claimed to be Exorcist or Minstrel to them in a 2f2. Night then went into claiming to be my Grandmother and said “You’re the Minstrel, aren’t you?” so I admitted to being so.
During this whisper Amelia claimed Grandmother in thread. So I said to Night how I felt a bit uncomfortable but wanted to trust them more than Amelia. So in thread (later) I said how I sussed Amelia a bit due to maybe hearing of another grandmother - I.E. Night.
I also had whispered to CRich who outright claimed Professor to me. And Professor is a bluff often used by a Shab or a minion in a Shab game so I chose to claim my backup claim which was Exorcist.
Night being a gossip revealed that a fair while ago today but suspected that the cause of 3 deaths was Gambler, their Gossip + 1 other kill (likely by a demon) which erked me since I was hoping Night was genuinely my Grandmother but I knew that their claim made sense from their perspective so I accepted it.
And Amelia before this had also backed off onto Tinker (due to a chambermaid 1) so at the time of backing off I was like “Sweet, Night really is my Grandmother, I can relax a bit today” - Turns out, I was very fucking wrong.
I’ve been very open about my suspicion on CRich and I think this is all a play. But they also said they had to sleep so I think they’ve left their vote on Egg, knowing dead susses CRich and thus will vote me, which in my perspective could be outright game losing.
If CRich is Demon, were there any other options considered for minion besides Egg? Because it seems that if the team is thought to be either CRich+Egg or Kiiruma+Dolby, then Egg should be more firm in his thought that Kiiruma is Evil.

Like there’s a chance that one of the outsiders could be a godfather instead but I’ve explained why I don’t believe it’s the case.
Plus if CRich had the Professor claim, being next to Egg (Who I suspect to be CRich’s minion) could’ve allowed for initial discussion of who to take what bluff.

There is nothing against that (nothing against Kiiruma demon either but CRich has been much sus socially). The final argument I’d like to make is that Night and Amelia are both very experienced and skilled players, they don’t get tricked very often.

Kiiruma+CRich is technically a valid team but not very. And I am as firm in my belief that Kiiruma is evil as I can be, being paranoid about fringe things is just how I play but Kiiruma Demon+Dobly is my main world and the one I have been pushing for the majority of this day.

To clarify now why I don’t think it’s one of the outsiders:
If Dolby was evil, I think CRich would’ve had them poked and replaced since CRich is active. Plus the claim of Goon is just a bit EHHH.
And for Amelia, the decision to publicly claim Grandmother and then to back off onto Tinker just brings a lot of suspicion there that I don’t think they’d have necessarily done so as a Godfather.
The only bit which gives me pause on Amelia is the whole “I trust CRich because I claimed Tinker to them, as they’re the Professor” but like, I kinda think that makes sense?

Yeah, Night and Amelia did give me pause. Yet when I looked at their arguments, I feel they aren’t really all that firm or based on much other than a slight social feeling. Like Amelia just thinks CRich is good socially, and I can’t see that. And Night feels that Kiiruma is in his Evil mode I guess.

Plus a lot of the accusation is from their Gossip.
“The evil team is fully within Kiiruma, Pigeon, Dolby” (IDK exact wording but it’s close to this)

So, a few questions
On the first day you were considering how CRich’s Professor bluff is Shablike(at the point where we had no evidence of Shab, and CRich had been spewing professor pretty publicly) while Professor is a role with a good amount of mechanical confirmation behind it? Or is that commentary in hindsight
Secondly, the CRich double bluff plan does feel super assbackwards doesn’t it. The dead players otherwise will have no reason to vote at all today and it could have been easy to hop on with Amelia and Night on the Wagon.
Actually I think it reinforces harder to me that the gossip is wrong because I don’t think CRich is good.
So even if I was to think “Egg might be good” then the Gossip would be wrong from my perspective and it would be a probable Shab game
Hmmm, but if the statement is false, then someone dies, right? And we had a few deaths. So I don’t understand how that gossip tells anything.

Yes, the only way it is not true is if we have a Shabaloth manipulating things or an Assassin who fired very early.
I talked to CRich privately and got the claim and it basically immediately gave me pause because BMR was one of the scripts which I played in (Although I was evil) and other experienced people did talk about how the Professor claim was questionable.
That BMR game went horribly for me because someone in the BotC community was too damn nice.
