again. mechanic wise and game wise it has a lot of cool interactions.
But when I see it in a script I am not going to pray to rnjesus to be the plague doctor this game. it’ll be a fun character to play with in a game. but not to play as.
like i dont wake up in the morning and think to myself “Oh boy I hope I roll my favourite character the barber today”

Plague Doctor / Baron: If the Storyteller gains the Baron ability, up to two players become not-in-play Outsiders.
Plague Doctor / Boomdandy: If the Plague Doctor is executed and the Storyteller would gain the Boomdandy ability, the Boomdandy ability triggers immediately.
Plague Doctor / Evil Twin: The Storyteller cannot gain the Evil Twin ability if the Plague Doctor dies.
Plague Doctor / Fearmonger: If the Plague Doctor dies, a living Minion gains the Fearmonger ability in addition to their own ability, and learns this.
Plague Doctor / Goblin: If the Plague Doctor dies, a living Minion gains the Goblin ability in addition to their own ability, and learns this.
Plague Doctor / Marionette: If the Demon has a neighbour who is alive and a Townsfolk or Outsider when the Plague Doctor dies, that player becomes an evil Marionette. If there is already an extra evil player, this does not happen.
Plague Doctor / Scarlet Woman: If the Plague Doctor dies, a living Minion gains the Scarlet Woman ability in addition to their own ability, and learns this.

I’m a known speed reader. That’s not to say I can process every post instantly, but you broke up that previous message into short and readable paragraphs so I could parse them both simultaneously.
I think my problem is I like doing things. i love outsiders. i just dont like outsiders that are just a “on death” ability
fair enough.
the better outsiders are usually ones with more freedom in how to diminish the negative utility of their abilities

I think these are the only jinxes I don’t like.
The Fearmonger jinx isn’t great either because it confirms the Plague Doctor, but it’s still an evil ability and doesn’t really mean much since it doesn’t change the game.
The Baron jinx is whatever, I think it’s fine to remove two useful abilities, but it’s going to be a pain for script building. The Boomdandy jinx really hurts.
No Vizier jinx surprises me.
