The reason why Ogre is jinxed with Recluse and Spy is to avoid creating a scenario where it’s impossible to learn your alignment. If the Ogre picked the Lycanthrope-Red Herring, how would they learn they’re evil?
unfortunately they did specify in unofficial that the lycan misreg wears off right before wincons are decided, so a lycan red herring saint can’t win the game for the good team. boo.
I was truly anticipating the Red Herring Mayor loss!
me when I make an arbitrary abulity that is not intuitive
Misregistration never applied to victory conditions anyhow.
it never applied to the player winning or losing
i am ready for a klutz loss from picking the red herring
Does this mean the evil twins ability never triggers at all?
Wait
It has to be a good player
it just means they can’t be the other twin
alch evil twin red herring who’s other twin has to be good
…Actually, this does count.
That hurts so much.
me on my way to kill into the twin pair as Lycan (totally real plausiable setuo design)
That’s so fucking dumb
I’d almost want to avoid adding other characters to a script which could inordinately suffer from the misregistration. I like the Bounty Hunter comparison, but…
Then again, actually. Every role should have the cost of not including something else which could’ve been useful, it’s all a trade, so it’s fine.
The only reason it’s not specifically “as a Minion/Demon” is to avoid immediate evil information being shared.
Klutz is a bad interaction even so. Don’t do this.
They’d learn their twin pairs true role so at least they have that
I think this Lycan just makes Eveyrhing worse
I like the Demon’s kill failing, and the interactions with that like Soldier. Allowing other kills to succeed is just good.
