I am going to steal this, muhahahahaha
(Though if you want I can photoshop the text to look proper)
(And try to do āartā to replace the icons. But I think itās good how it is ironically.)
My favourite part about this image is the environmental storytelling of how you can totally tell āPillarcentreā was changed to āPillarcenterā
this script is awful btw lmao
I loved that part when theyāve said itās pillarcentre time and pillarcentered
Yeah, the Storytellers figured that out a few days into the game :crogge:
I had fun. Since I was the Cerenovus. And thereās potential for extreme shenanigans there. Mutant claimed while under Minstrelās influence and so I got to get them Awesome Stabbed the next day. And I accidentally killed my own teammate but doing so ended up being good for us in the long run so
At least they found out
Basically nobody in the game had played Blood on the Clocktower before, by the way. This was our introduction to the game. Longform.
One would think that killing the Devilās Advocate D2 via accidental bus and then the Scarlet Woman via accidental madness break (I still maintain it was their fault that they answered my question, given I immediately tried to stop them from doing so) would not make for a victory but by god did I brute force that carry. No competence only pockets
Iām trying to find the screenshot that says āMay doesnāt have pockets May just runs around with a butterfly net and yoinks peopleā. Stark contrast to my wolf play here. Iām a great wolf when Iām Not Scared
ok so wait
did you forget who your teammates were or did the Storyteller just. Not tell you them. I donāt see Poppy Grower on the script
The accidental bus was purely a social error. We had messed up our night actions such that I was holding the Lilā Monsta token but not protected by Devilās Advocate, so I panicked under the slightest bit of pressure and tossed out a case in my teammateās direction, intending for it only to be a distance. Unfortunately someone picked it up and ran with it toward EoD and got them killed. I argued against it, in a deeply obvious move, but it was too late.
The Cerenovus kill was another convoluted accident. I Cerenovused my teammate because they didnāt yet have a claim, and I knew what on the script was a safe fakeclaim at that point, so it was a nudge at āHey. Claim this, and if it falls through, say it was madnessā. I couldnāt directly whisper them because they were sus as hell and I was deepwolf at that point and couldnāt afford any scrutiny. And then through a chain of whispers I asked them like āhey what were you planning to claim before thisā and the follow-up āWAIT FUCK DONāT ANSWER THATā didnāt reach them in time
TL;DR I do random shit when I panic
Thatās my biggest weakness in any case. Every wolfgame of mine is a beautiful wonderful palace carefully constructed that falls apart as soon as any kind of pressure is put on it. If I can keep everything on the rails, I donāt panic and I win. If I canāt, I fall apart and lose. Very easy stuff.
Itās not even that I crumble under pressure as in suspicion. If I know Iām going to receive suspicion, if I can prepare myself for it, I can handle it perfectly fine. I crumble under unexpected suspicion, unexpected behaviourā¦ Pathologic I fell apart because the wrong townie was misexecuted the day before ExLo. I didnāt have any semblance of a plan for what to do with Eliza already dead, and I was too overconfident in myself to make one in the night, so I just threw. I need a plan. I always need a plan.
Next BoTF should have Vizier 100%.
I ask, once again
Are you positive Vizier is going to be fun?
Asynchronous environments are difficult to coordinate in, and Vizier requires top notch coordination for Good to surpass.
And will it be fun for the Vizier player themselves? They have no room to bluff.
Besides, I have a better idea. Just needs some more refinement.
If you know you know.
Well we had an Organ Grinder in BoTF, which as far as I remember wasnāt expected to work in long form BoTC. Vizier should be easier, as the storytellers only have to ask the Vizier if they want to use their ability or not.
