I think probably the honest answer is that people were thinking âIâm going to make a role thatâll mess up the good teamâ and never asked themselves âwhat happens if the player with this role tries to use it in a pro-Good way?â
so you get, like, âthis role can kill people! seems bad!â and at no point did they think âwhat happens if they just target the most sus peopleâ
