If you were playing BotC in person, let’s be real how quick could you have a conversation with 3 other people at the same time? Not very fast right? Realistically it’d take up quite a bit of time and irl once you’re called back to town you don’t get to whisper others, you’re sat in your seats ready to murder others (Preferably a demon if you’re good or anybody else if not)

The existence of fables, which are game modifications that can be introduced at any time, is the presumed reason why this is occurring. We already had an announcing role so they probably didn’t want another one, given that it’s not here for accessibility reasons. Yada yada. Don’t worry about it.
