How could and Atheist be poisoned?
Okay, this is BS…
How could and Atheist be poisoned?
It’s information for town, and they would want to claim ASAP in order to let the town know that they have to execute the storyteller/s to win the game. Also, there are no evils in an atheist game.
The only reason that would make sense, is if the Drunk is on script. Which it isn’t btw.
It would be understandable if they are afraid of being Drunk. But SnV doesn’t have a Drink on the script.
Let me put it this way. In a starting atheist game on this script, the atheist can only by droisoned by a Philosopher choosing the Atheist ability. Which wouldn’t stop the atheist ability being in play nonetheless.
Dont say Philo…
Because if Atheist poisoned becasue of Philo, the game still has a sober Atheist. (In form of the Philo)
I’m just parroting what the wiki says.
- If there are characters on the script that could make you drunk, such as the Drunk, do everything you can to figure out whether or not you are drunk. If you are the Drunk, then you are not the Atheist at all, there is no Atheist in play, there are hidden evil players amongst you, and executing the Storyteller will result in the evil team winning.
I’m not the Atheist, what?
Well, technically the ST can poison the Atheist without reason. (Because it is an Atheist game) but that would just mean, and unfun, so I think we can discard that as an option.
im an athiest
not itg just irl
In which case the Atheist’s power doesn’t work.
And the wiki say Drunk, not poisoned…
Drunk, poisoned, malfunctioning, they’re all the same.
“Drunk” is a role, but it’s also the same condition.
this is not related to this game but strictly speaking, the Drunk is not considered to be malfunctioning
you can have a Drunk that sees Atheist in a game with evils but you can’t have a legitimately malfunctioning starting atheist because all malfunctions apply after setup effects, meaning there would be no evils and the game would be over because the atheist abiity is out of play
You are technically right, but actually not…
It isn’t the same.
(Poison comes from evil, drunkennes comes from town sources, this usually have the same effect, but there are cases, where the two should be or can be differentiated.)
So a drunk Atheist and a poisoned Atheist has two very different meaning. (I’m pretty sure that on the wiki anywhere else they talk about drunkennes, they are talking about it with pairing it with being poisoned. )
im

Are you sure that doesn’t need to be checked by a doctor?
