Lucifer di Neiro, the heir apparent of the Crown States, disappeared in the early morning on November 3rd.
Traces of blood were found in his room. Everyone assumes that he’s dead, but we don’t have a body.
The flecks of blood on his carpet are consistent with him vomiting or coughing blood, indicating either some kind of poison, or a single stab wound through the lungs. The latter seems more likely due to the bloody drag marks that lead underneath his bed, then out the window.
The problem is that Lucifer’s door was locked and chained. The imperial guard found the scene and had to lockpick the door and cut the chain, then fully remove the door to move his dresser out of the way.
The window was open, but the imperial hunting grounds were kept on lock carefully watched all night, and then fully swept the morning after. Nobody was found.
There was no plausible method for a killer or for Lucifer’s body to escape.
Everyone assumes it was a suicide, because it would be impossible for anybody else to have killed him.
But the suicide theory in itself is even more impossible. It’s consistent with Lucifer dragging himself under his bed, sure. But it’s absurd for a 17 year old boy to, after being stabbed in the chest, drag himself under his bed, and then decide to throw himself out the window and somehow escape the hunting grounds under heavy watch surrounded by 3 meter tall metal fences.
It seems very likely that the groundskeeper was an accomplice and unlocked the gates to let the killer escape with his body.
But that doesn’t answer the largest question.
Who killed Lucifer? And why?
This case is pivotal. It’s my ticket to uncovering the greatest conspiracy to rock the Crown States.
I’m going to find the truth behird it no matter what.
At all costs.
