That game, not here.
The pit into which everyone wanting to sign up has fallen into.
Someone, get some rope!
Now that the other game has finished, would you be able to in as a player? Or are you still too busy for that?
I think Iāll be able to in as a player now. Iāll send you my choices in a private PM.
/in as a player seat 7.
I donāt think I commented on this discussion, so here are my two cents.
This could apply to any evil team composition. BOTC is built on the premise that good can win at any time, by executing the Demon, but evil can only win by playing well the entire game. In a Legion game, good can only make so many mistakes before losing, they have to play well, and evil knows exactly who must die.
(Except in a Poppygrower/Magician game, but letās not go there.)
Legion are incentivised to vote and play cautiously. If Legion double-claim in their bluffs, or double-claim a good player, it might out Legion; especially since everyoneās paranoid if Legionās on the script. Furthermore, lying to a select few players instead of everyone makes you feel less individually important. I would argue thatās the purpose of Legion, though; individual players are disposable. You arenāt a pawn, but you are helping to stage the show. That might not be for everyone, but it can fun in its own way.
Oh yeah. Legion + Poppygrower is a whole different beast, because you know most people are on your team, but outing to the wrong player is catastrophic. If it werenāt for Legion voting, this would feel brilliant.
Magician + Legion actually makes Magician a good role.
To be fair, thereās on-going game and two signing up.
thatās the issue I think, it will split up the players by large margain
Ehā¦ In my case I donāt want to sign up for a BotF where I donāt know which roles may or may not appear. The OP gave a link to the wiki, but I aināt planning to look at them.
Iād rather have vanilla BotF, whatever that may mean.
Weāre only using roles from the base three scripts, plus the official experimental roles. There is no homebrew.
55+ Townsfolk
15+ Outsiders
15+ Minions
10+ Demons
Basically 100 possible roles.
Itās just too much headache.
The final script can be expected to have around the same size as the other scripts, which means ~13 Townsfolk, ~4 Outsiders, ~4 Minions and ~4 Demons, with some possible variance where deemed necessary but around that number.
This isnāt Fishbucket.
Ehā¦ If it is public, then sure: Iām in as Seat 11.
Cool. Please send Jarek and I a PM with two characters of each character type whenever you get the chance.
Sorry if the OP wasnāt clear enough, I thought it made sense.
Will each person always be one of the 8 roles they sent you two?
I think that worked? Still new to this lol. Will the script be public knowledge after the game starts, or is this just like pure unknowns?
And also also will duplicates be possible (I imagine you could just assign a duplicate Drunk or Lunatic or Marionette if needed.
