ORGAN GRINDER STOPS FUNCTIONING AFTER DEATH CORRECT?

anyway ima drive cya

Death disables the ability, correct. It’s not the only way the ability is turned off, but it’s one of them.

IIRC dead roles supposedly don’t do anything post-mortem unless otherwise stated.

Issue is: Organ Grinder cannot die unless they vote someone, so if they abstain, then they can never die.

I feel like it’s much easier (or at least, more efficient) to just ignore Organ Grinder and find Demon instead.

For an organ grinder to die they have to vote on themselves. If they don’t vote on themselves the entire game could vote on them but they won’t die and the vote will effectively be treated as if it had 0 votes

so if a bunch of people say they’re gonna vote someone, and then they don’t die, that’s probably our organ grinder

Man… you’re so right Litten.
I’m definitely the Monke

It’s not like my ability can be… pretty easily proven.
Within Zone’s pings would be the Monke assumedly, yes?
I doubt the demon would be amongst us 3.

Assuming they weren’t lying, I suppose you’d be correct. Nothing states in the OG’s ability you can’t tell people “hey I voted X”

Do you not understand what your claim means lol

well yeah, but if we have the organ grinder on the block, the most evil that can vote on it is 1, and there are 6 townies that can vote
so if 6 people say “I voted X” and they didn’t die, that’s our organ grinder, because even if the demon is lying within that six, that’s still 5 votes and a majority

The organ grinder cannot die unless they self vote.
Therefore if you’re attempting to kill the organ grinder… then it’s a pretty fruitless task.

The only way they choose to let themselves die is if their demon is the other nom for the day :upside_down_face:

I wasn’t accusing you of being organ grinder

but I guess if the organ grinder isn’t on the block then we’d need everyone to say they voted before we’re sure… hhh

Litten. I have played around 550 games of BotC, 100-ish of which are in-person.
Trust me when I say I know my character.

It’s a basic one.
