They are obvious town and the only reason not to kill them is because of lack of abilities but like, they also clearly had multiple kills but there was specific others they felt were more important.

Magnus is Assassin who knew Guava was being OE’d so got Guava to use their ability (where they kill someone if they’re killed) on someone else so that multiple people would die
