I don’t really agree? It’s a pretty basic post, anyone could make it really. If Leafia sees an ally get pushed they could just be like ‘ok let’s lynch Zorvo instead as they’re a safe lynch’, or they too realize Zorvo could be an addition to town.

Decided to ISO Caitlin because I have nothing better to do in my free period
Before this post all she had really done was perpetuate a conversation about something that didn’t matter so I was thinking she might be evil but this post actually looks really good for her and… kinda bad for Garf and Leafia

But he could be lying about what he is.
And even if not then his ability can actually harm us if he ends up shielding evils.

That is the best shot at not making an evil king from my perspective. And I think that we can win this without our town abilities. But maybe that’s just me being used to all vanilla? Who knows.

I would say that king mechanic here is generally pro-town since there is just more town slots to pick from than non-town slots and townreads are also generally easier to make than scumreads. So that is not something I would prefer to default to neutral.

Zorvo will not do this. I am 100% confident and if he does that you can blame me for our loss but I am 100% confident that Zorvo won’t backstab us.

I think it is less about his personal choice and more about who his wincon aligns with better at endgame.

Silviu may have asked the wrong question whether Strigoi should be controlled to roleblock potential groupscum for us, which I am against this idea for good reason. Because this roleblock is the vampire bite.

So that leaves to Leafia, that she replied to Silviu about the Strigoi’s roleblock that she have no comment on that.

there is no benefit for an evil player to support the stepping of a neutral king claiming to be siding with town right now, because either they’re telling the truth and you are harming yourself or they aren’t - but you won’t know they aren’t until it’s later on.

On that note, it seems there’s a thin line between perceptions of TMI and townreading sometimes. What is the difference to you @Leafia ? Might be helpful to get your full perspective there.

I think what matters most is how strong the townread is claimed to be. Locktowning someone because they did something that could be percieved as slightly villagery is TMI. Gutleaning them town isn’t.

Found it. I was saying that I’m not sure whether or not compromising with Zorvo like that is a good idea. Because while I do think he’d do it, I know how he can be and making him king could come back to bite us in the end.

Firstly thank you for speaking unlike our previous game together
Anyway
If Zorvo does that I simply will never trust him again
Like I will hold a grudge against him for the rest of time
And also you can blame me for the loss if that happens
But I really do not think he is going to do that

I trust Zorvo as well. Not sure I trust him to lead the town to victory though. I literally can’t see Zorvo making the claim he made unless he’s 100% being honest and wants town to win. Whether or not ot’ll be beneficial to town for him to be lord though, I don’t know yet and I do think I’d be a much better lord.

Heck, Gorta would probably be a bettwr choice. Magnus would likely be the best choice though.

Zorvo should be king if you believe he is a neutral because he is not evil and if he wanted to be evil king… doesn’t he just claim town? It’s evident by all of your reactions that he doesn’t claim this neutral as evil because he just dies like he’s about to.

He could be confirmed good and I’d still have the same misgivings about him becoming lord. Have you seen t!Zorvo with a gun?

Trust me. It isn’t. I haven’t seen him as a neut but I can’t see him scumsiding as one. Even if doing so means an easier victory.
